'OK DJ' is a personal project in which I embark on the design and development of an innovative music app that revolutionises the way people experience and interact with music.

My approach was rooted in user-centred design and a comprehensive UX process. I began by conducting extensive research to gain a deep understanding of user needs, preferences, and pain points in the realm of music consumption. Through user interviews, surveys, and market analysis, I uncovered insights into the limitations of existing music services and identified opportunities for improvement.

Armed with these insights, I proceeded to define clear user personas and crafted detailed user journey maps to visualise the ideal user experience. I then translated these findings into wireframes and interactive prototypes, allowing me to gather valuable feedback through usability testing. Iterative design cycles and continuous user feedback helped refine the app's features, interface, and overall flow. This approach ensured that the app's functionality, navigation, and aesthetics were intuitive and seamless, meeting the expectations and desires of the target audience.

Throughout the development process, I prioritised user feedback, incorporating it into every stage of the app's creation. This user-centric approach extended to the app's visual design, where I focused on creating an engaging and visually appealing interface that evokes a sense of excitement and immersion. The result is a music app that not only offers personalised, curated playlists based on live data but also integrates interactive elements reminiscent of a live DJ experience. The app's flexibility, adaptability, and user-controlled energy level adjustments provide users with a dynamic and engaging music journey that resonates with their mood and preferences.
